The Stage6 sport pro variator is an awesome
state-of-the-art scooter tuning product. The sport pro
variator comes pre-adjusted for use with a 50cc cylinder
and a Stage6 Pro Replica exhaust system, however, it
has actually been developed and optimized for use with
Stage6 Sport Pro cylinder / Streetrace cylinder or similar
70cc sport cylinders. The back of the variator and the
roller tracks are hard coated but the running surface is
uncoated. This can reduce the running surface's lifespan
but the increased friction co-efficients result in much
better performance. Also, the coating cannot flake off as
can happen with hard coated running surfaces, which
would lead to quicker wear or even breaking of the drive
belt. Included in the kit are the variator with bushing,
back plate with low-friction coating, shims, a set of roller
weights (16x13) and a medium torque spring.
Note: Please make sure this scooter engine part fits your
particular scooter model. Many scooters have the same
name but use different engine parts depending on the
year of manufacture.

trial and error - but the result is really worth the effort!
